Lagrein is a northern Italian varietal originating from the Alto Adige region. Now that it has been in bottle for ~1 year the wine has integrated and is really quite exciting.

Aromas of earth, cherry and fig, with flavors of cherry, raspberry and pepper.

Pasta Carbonara. Braised Osso Buco. Shepherds Pie with lamb and peas.
