2019 Lagrein, Yamhill-Carlton (Estate)
Lagrein is a northern Italian varietal originating from the Alto Adige region. Now that it has been in bottle for ~1 year the wine has integrated and is really quite exciting.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of dark fruit, dried plums, dried cherry and dried fig, and hints of baking spices. Flavors of blackberry and dark cherry with bright acidity and a soft mid palate.
Food Pairings
This is a great food wine and pairs nicely with Italian food.
